Thom says that the spacing between the rings can show if the tree had a hard growing season or an easy one.
Connor Sroka and Micah Fransler bring feed bags out for the horses during the morning routine. Participants in the Ranch Hands program have to get up early with the wranglers for feeding, grooming and tacking so the horses are ready and waiting for the day's riders.
